What I am Reading in October
This month, I have purchased two new books to dive into during October. The first is a book that I have been meaning to read for ages, and I finally got around to it!
"The Dwarves" by Markus Heitz was once described to me "as detailed as Tolkien." Of course, I had to find out if this author was as good as I thought he would be. I haven't finished "The Dwarves" yet, but I am already sucked in to the scenery that Heitz painted of the world, and loving each character more and more as the book continues. The one criticism I will give is the plot was easy to figure out. Within a few pages, I already knew who our main character would end up becoming. But, I am expecting quite the plot twist as I keep turning the pages. We will see! Second, I am reading "Boost Your Confidence through Motorcycling". I often read books related to women and motorcycles. Each of them offer a unique look into what it is like to be a woman and an avid rider. This specific book is telling the story of a woman's journey of self-discovery through riding motorcycles. Like "The Dwarves", I haven't finished it yet, but I'm enjoying the read so far!
